Being single is exhausting. You're constantly second guessing things, reading into the motive for people's actions, and wondering if you're thicc enough to catch someone's eye. The truth is, the dating scene isn't what it used to be. Unless you're really good at thinking of a clever, one sentence bio about yourself that summarizes how you're professional, laid back, motivated, calm and collected, rowdy at parties, but not overbearing, and like occasionally engaging in mild-to-moderate sporting activities, then you're doomed. How are you supposed to curate a 2 second snippet of your enormous personality so that you can catch the involuntarily impulsive right swipe of some other single person who is within a 10 mile radius of your current location? Well, until you manage to find a suitable partner, I suppose you'll just have to keep getting your heart broken, running experimental changes on your dating app profile until you land on Mr. (swipe) Right.
