‘Did You Block Me?’ : 20 Best Dating App Fails of the Week for the Tired Crowd

We can't ignore the elephant in the room, which is that next week it's Valentine's day. And we're reminded of just how much dating… sucks. It's the one day a year when companies make a lot of money selling 'love', also known as 'chocolates and flowers'. Because that's the real deal, right? Uploading a story on Instagram to show everybody your partner care's about you. Obviously.

A lot of people have been swiping extra this week, hoping to maybe catch a date for the dreaded 14th. What can I say, some folk are prepared. I say sit back, relax, put on Lord of the Rings, and order a pizza. It's quite apparent that this day is not at all about affection, but rather about revenue and trying to prove to the world just how happy you are, chained to someone else's ankles.

Gosh, I sound bitter. Well, that's how you get after years of getting absolutely nada on dating apps, so what can I say folk? I ain't ashamed. It is what it is.
