Our parents generation had it far easier in the dating world. If you wanted to meet someone, you'd go dancing, to a house party, or get introduced in person and badabing badaboom, you fell in love and that was it. You met, you dated once or twice, you were exclusive, then you were in a relationship– simple! Nowadays, it's a little more complicated because 95% of eligible men are less eligible than they insist, and there's really no screening process to prove otherwise; on top of that, there are about a hundred new phases in the dating process. So because of technological loop holes, apps, and texting, now there is a new phase in the dating world, a sort of purgatory, known bitterly as "the talking phase". If you've ever heard a friend say, "oh, we're just talking", it's time to send a lifeline to her, she is deluded, misled, confused, and probably wishing that her man was either her boyfriend or clearly NOT her boyfriend.
