Urbanist Memes For Train Boys

By all metrics, I should be an urbanist. I grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, one of the worst places to drive in the country. Those two cities are connected by miles and miles of seven-lane highways, making driving in that area a living nightmare. I miraculously didn't get into a car crash when I went to Dallas from Fort Worth because my parents had me take that DART (Dallas Area "Rapid" Transit) train to the city. That was a wise choice. 

For the past few years, I've lived in Columbus, Ohio, which only has a bus system to help carless citizens get around. Don't get me wrong: I loved the COTA bus, but it was only convenient when moving a couple of miles from your starting place. If you want to get to the opposite side of the city, good luck taking the bus! In 2021, the bus didn't even run after 9:30 PM! Not to air out dirty laundry, but that is a crime, I tell you!

Now that I'm residing in the big apple, life is good! I take public transit daily, giving me little to no problems. I'm happy with my life as a carless person in one of the few cities that accommodate that lifestyle. If you've gone on a similar journey from a driving rube to a train enjoyer, you might be an urbanist and hence will love the following urbanist memes.
