Font - 12:32 53° K ll 98% This company doesn't treat people with dignity. Working 6 days in a row as a new hire is ridiculous. Being left alone to run toxicology on my second day is absolutely absurd. Changing people's schedules 2 days out with no notice is so disrespectful. Changing them at all after posting, without any communication, is unacceptable. Requiring non-exempt employees to make FedEx drop-offs while off the clock is an FLSA violation. I'm surprised you haven't been reported for thi

You guys have no idea what you're doing and it shows. There appears to be no communication among supervisors. Things are highly disorga

Font - juelpa OP 23 hr. ago I hope so. They really deserve to be treated better. They all talked about how much they disliked the working conditions and how different the job was vs. what they actually applied for. I should have known better because they changed the job title right after I accepted the position. So many red flags, but I assumed it would be okay because it's a larger corporation with multiple locations in the US. I never stand up for myself and I'm glad that I finally did. Thank

Font - Ⓒ juelpa OP. 21 hr. ago Good to know. I typically work for smaller companies or non-profits. This used to be a small company but was bought out by the larger corporation, and they are trying to change everything without communicating with each other.

Font - Ceph_Stormblessed 23 hr. ago Out them. Companies like this deserve zero protections. 19 Reply Share juelpa OP 22 hr. ago For my own safety, I'm not sure if this is a good idea. I will be posting a review on glassdoor or wherever else disgruntled employees go to vent.

Font - RandomComment359. 20 hr. ago Depending on the state, 11 hour shifts with no breaks might be very illegal. In California it would be illegal as 17 Reply Share juelpa OP 20 hr. ago Unfortunately, there is no federal law regarding breaks for those over age 18. My state does not require them. Big changes need to be made for our country's workers. California has some of, if not the best, worker protections in the US.

Font - Zywhnzi 22 hr. ago You deserve better. Good on you for not tolerating this. 12 Reply Share juelpa OP 22 hr. ago They all deserve better. I assume nothing will change, but I hope that by including HR and higher up supervisors in the email, things may be looked into a little more. My local supervisors kind of did what they wanted. I'm not sure that it was company policy.

I am privileged to have a very supportive partner as well as a decent amount of savings as backup. Many people don't have the privilege that I do. Sending you support and hope for improvement. :
