If we're being completely honest with you guys… this story hits close to home. Growing up, our mom was very strict about the level of cleanliness in the house. She taught us from a young age how to properly clean every single surface of the house so that it would shine and sparkle. So yeah, we definitely blame our mother for our psychotic cleaning demands but listen… life is just so much more enjoyable when you have a clean house, a clean room, a clean desk, a clean toilet… you get the drill.
Our husband on the other hand - complete polar opposite. His cleaning demands are nowhere near as high as ours but you know what? That's okay. One thing that we had to understand as we moved in together is that we had different living styles while we were single. But now it's time to combine the two and find a compromise. After all, that's all marriage is - a never-ending compromise.
