So, we're back on the dating apps… finding yet again, a whole lot of disappointment. For some reason, the second you save a potential interest's number, it all goes caput. Maybe we should start saving a dude's contact after he proposes. Hollywood feeds us all this lovey-dovey prince charming fairytale BS, and we eat it up like it's Ben and Jerry's ice cream (cookie cream). Unfortunately, that's not how real life works.
Hinge is totally addicting, but also doesn't really yield many results. We've had like, two successful dates, one of which we were promptly ghosted after (perhaps the word 'successful' wasn't the most accurate way to describe it). Maybe we should embrace being forever alone and adopt a cat (or a plant). It's not that bad, anyway — we just like being dramatic. We have our best friend, which is better than having a date.
