"I went on vacation and the cat sitters kept texting me that Snapdragon was hiding and not eating much. I said she was fine and just throwing a tantrum.
I got home and she had clearly lost weight. She still was refusing to eat or drink. I took her to the emergency vet to discover that I was totally correct. She had made herself malnourished and dehydrated because I had the audacity to leave her."
