30+ Things Millennials Grew Up With That Would Send Gen Z Alpha Into a Coma

Ahhhh the '90s and early oughts. What a time to be alive. Kids were raised to believe they could do anything, but were never presented with any sort of path on how to achieve that thing. Diet culture had sizes starting a "double zero" and glorifying "her0in chic." And Myspace Top 8s were making or breaking friendships. 

Yeah, yeah, Gen Z might have already existed for some of these things, but they were little kids. You might know what AIM is, on a factual sense, but you don't know AIM like millennials do. We still get PTSD reactions to hearing the sound of that door opening and closing. 

One woman on TikTok recently started a series where she talks about nostalgic millennial things that are unlocking a lot of memories. This has also sent other millennials on TikTok to walk down memory lane with her and comment other things that they were obsessed with as a kid that Gen Z and Gen Alpha would just not comprehend. Millennial parents are even saying they try to describe things such as T9 and Myspace to their kids and their minds are simply being blown.
