Ah the Corgi, synonymous with Great Britain, Queen Elizabeth and now incredibly cute crossbreeds. We are pretty sure that Queen Elizabeth would be proud to see the majestic combinations of breeds that have crossed paths with her royal Corgis. There are Dalmatians, Rottweilers, Golden Retrievers, Pugs (ironically not that different from the original Corgi), Australian Shepherds, German Shepherds, Beagles, Mastiffs, Shelties, Labradores and the most surprising of all a Corgi x Great Dane cross. Yup, we were pretty stumped by that one too.
Though their cuteness isn't quite the focus of this list, no no. This list exists because as it turns out when you cross another breed with a Corgi, the resulting offspring simply look like a Corgi playing dress up! That's right Corgi x Bulldog cross, looks like a Corgi dressed as a Bulldog for halloween.
The Dalmatian originally comes from Croatia from the Dalmatia region and was initially bred as a hunting dog. Suffice to say this little pup won't be getting involved in the hunt but that looking look on his face sure does make it look like he is yearning for his Croatian roots.
There is only one thing that is true about this dog breed's name, they are shepherds and excellent herders. However, they are not Australian. The breed has its origins in the United States and northwest Spain. One can only assume the Australians liked them so much that they renamed them.
