Clearly, not all recruiters are born great. Not all recruiters achieve greatness. And certainly, not all recruiters have greatness thrust upon them. In fact, in this instance, we have a recruiter who is anything but great.
This thread was posted to Reddit by u/jobud368, who shared that he was up for a position but his credibilities were called into question by a recruiter because of their degree (which was from Brown University so yes, reader, you may roll your eyes). A simple Google search will tell you that the degrees from Ivy League schools and several other universities are written in Latin. This recruiter, therefore, believed the degree was "foreign" and that the job applicant was lying. Thankfully, the applicant was able to ignore the recruiter and contact the hiring manager directly to explain everything. At the end of the day, the Redditor was still offered the position. The recruiter, on the other hand, is still not the brightest bulb.
