Listen, we know that cats look harmless. They live in your house, they sleep, they're lazy. You don't think that your kitties can be dangerous. Our cats are so cute, our cats are so smol, our cats are so fluffy and soft and baby-like. But oh no, when they're mad, they make sure that you know about it. They will not let you live it down. Prepare for some bites, prepare for some early-er wake up calls, and prepare for an intense case of silent treatment and ignoring.
You don't wanna piss your cats off, but sometimes, you end up doing it not by choice. Sometimes, you gotta do things that improve their lives without them really understanding that you're helping them. Like taking them to the vet and getting their matted fur shaved off. It helps, but they don't like it. It's funny to us, but to them… yeah, be ready to face the consequences.
"Please send thoughts and prayers. Not for him, the vet said he's actually in amazingly good health, but for me. I don't dare guess what his retribution might be."
"Wow! He got shaved more than my Sunny, who was also matted so badly he needed to be anesthetized and shaved. Sunny also felt better after the procedure, but I did crochet him a sweater until his fur grew out a bit. He is about 16 so doesn't groom like he used to but doesn't like to be brushed. Good luck to your little nekkid kitty."
"My Mochi got a lion cut from a groomer. I thought she would come home mad, but she was so happy with all the matts gone and not pulling her skin. She did get cold though, so I let her use the electric blanket."
