Owners Offer 3,000$ For Parrot That Goes Missing, Twitter Users Meme The Heck Out Of It (Viral Thread)
A pet owner's worst nightmare - losing your pet. Anyone who that has ever happened to will tell you that it's the worst feeling in the world. The concern is insane, the anxiety is awful, and we're willing to do anything to find them. We see 'cat missing' and 'dog missing' posters all the time, offering prizes and asking for help, but one thing that we don't see very often are 'parrot missing' signs, let alone ones that offer 3,000$ in reward for said parrot being found and brought back, and apparently, twitter thinks that's absolutely hilarious.
So, of course, twitter responded to this tweet in the most twitter way that they could - by meme-ing the heck out of this bird. Of course, we love funny bird memes, and a part of us can't help but laugh at them, but we also very much hope that this parrot makes it home safely.

And that's the question, isn't it? How does one actually catch the bird if they come across it? There needs to be a better way to help find lost birds. You can't just stand there holding a bunch of nuts and hoping for the best. Or maybe you can. We've never actually tried it.

Goodness, we hope so much that this is indeed the missing parrot. There's no way to know for sure based solely on this one photo, but if this is indeed the parrot that was on the posters, that's amazing. This can either be the owner who got his parrot back or someone who managed to persuade the parrot to sit on his shoulder while bringing it back to the owners. And if it's either, this photo is still amazing, and we want to be this guy.
