Being a delivery driver isn't an easy job. Sure, you might get to cruise around in your car while listening to your favorite tunes, but that's where the fun stops. The other (significant) part of the job involves going onto a stranger's property. A stranger who was, for some reason, incapable of making or retrieving their own food—with this reason usually being varying levels of intoxication or antisocial nature.
This exchange usually occurs at night, in the dark, leading to already heightened paranoia and making the whole seem much dodgier than it already needs to be. That feeling isn't helped when the delivery receiver shuffles to the door in clothing unfit for public presentation.
We've seen a whole lot of stories from delivery drivers over the years, with each of them arising from a unique situation involving an entitled or otherwise deranged recipient. These entitled persons never understand when some unseen tragedy or force of nature stands between them and their meal— their reaction being a feral rage similar to when another lion gets between a lioness and her kill.
It turns out a freak tornado, like the one that just hit New Jersey, isn't a good enough reason to some people for a delayed delivery… This Karen took to Google to share her displeasure at her delayed food by leaving a 1-star review. The owner, not to be put out, clapped back with a reply that put Karen in her place.
This review and response have been everywhere online over the last twenty-four hours, and commenters have shared their thoughts in various threads that have popped up. See a selection of these below. For more, check out this Karen, who got roasted by an owner's response when she left a 1-star review after being denied service when she came in after closing during the Super Bowl.
