It's tax season, and we're all here again doing our civic duty to keep the government funded programs a rollin' for everyone who needs them in our community. That's how a society works, right? Well, sometimes rich people think that since they have all the money in the world to hire someone to find all the loopholes they can to avoid paying taxes, that they shouldn't have to pay those taxes. Well, who is that going to hurt? We'll tell you who, people in the community who aren't million or billionaires. It's like the French bourgeoisie all over again!
Luckily, we have some citizen who use this opportunity for some petty revenge. Recently, a guy on Reddit shared his story of getting satisfying revenge on an entitled rich person. He was renting his guest room out and had a rich entitled guest. He knew she was rich, because she flew in every month just to check on her fancy pants condo that she rented out for way more money than it was worth. She would only stay a night and then be on her way. However, the last time she stayed, she ended up leaving him a bad review. Feeling scorned and also annoyed of the entitlement of this rich woman, he decided to do a little dirty digging. In doing so, he found out that she has been avoiding certain taxes on her property. He casually mentioned it to the city hall clerks, and now she potentially owes more than $2,000 in taxes to the city.
Feels a little more than petty revenge, but satisfying revenge nonetheless.
