We all know Tom & Jerry. They're the classic cat and mouse cartoon where they're always at odds with each other. The cat chases the mouse, the mouse tries to out maneuver the cat and hilarity ensues, etc. etc. It is a common belief that cats and mice are natural born enemies. Many times people will decide to adopt a cat with the thought of their new feline friend being able to scary away all the pest in their home. Barn cats definitely take that job pretty seriously. But sweet spoiled little indoor home cats can be a toss up when it comes to the duty of pest control in the home. You never know when you're fur baby kitty cat might actually see that mouse you want out of your house and think, "hmmmm, friend?"
That is exactly what happened with one cat dad recently. He posted a video online of his kitty floundering with their role as pest control. There was mouse in their home, and a very ballsy one. This mouse was unafraid to show their face to the human and even square up with this cat. The cat dad picked up the cat, who was snoozing without a care in the world, and plopped them face-to-face with this mouse. The dad hoped that the cat's k*ller instincts would kick in and this pesky little mouse would be toast!
But instead, the cat looked quizzically upon this new critter in front of him and thought "hmmm friend or foe? I do not know!" So the mouse took this moment of feline confusion to use it' rodeo skills. This mouse must have been a pest at a rodeo previously because the way it professionally roped and rode this cat like it was a cowboy was a sight to see. The man was obviously upset that the cat didn't do what he wanted him to do, but he couldn't stay made because the site of this mouse unafraid, riding his cat like a prized stallion horse was too hilarious!
