If you're a great boss, you encourage your team to shine, bring out the best in people, and don't need to micromanage. If you're just an okay boss, maybe you have some flaws, but your employees just have to work around you. Then, there's horrible bosses like this guy, who are just rotten to the core, and don't care about their employees in the slightest.

This boss has important business to attend to, such as watching the cameras to see if the employees were sitting down. Surely there are better uses of one's time than to watch for someone to sit down. Especially for this employee — who actually had a fool-proof excuse why sitting was necessary — this boss didn't think through what would happened when they sent that message.
