Have you ever wondered why some cats are absolutely obsessed with climbing trees? They love to climb, that's a given, but some see a tree and within the blink of an eye, they've seemingly teleported their floofy faces within its branches. This comes from the ancient days when the Cat Lords of old were at war with each other in their jungle-covered homelands.
In order to gain tactical superiority, Sir MurderMittens of the Cat Lords would climb the tallest of trees, in order to counter the gorilla warfare (a type of guerilla warfare developed by gorillas) of his enemies, allowing his forces to know the whereabouts of the enemy and succeed in their battles. Nowadays, cats use this tree climbing as a tactical power move on humans, forcing them to worry and even rescue them sometimes.

Beware the void within the Christmas tree, for it strikes without warning and with incredibly cute swiftness. It also has a tendency to steal the milk and cookies that children leave out for Santa, and has stolen his name, wishing to be called Santa Claws.
Though house cats are related to the cat lords of old, they are quite a distant branch of the family, unlike the lions of Uganda, who love to chill in trees, and bear striking resemblance to drawings of the cat lords.
