There's nothing wrong with feeling an attachment to something that brings you happiness in life. We all do it. We tend to latch on to certain stories or characters with who we identified or sports teams that remind us that we're a part of something bigger. Especially as we sink into the monotony of adult life, these things can give us greater meaning.
A 'Disney Adult' is someone who has latched on to a love of all things Disney in the biggest way, and it's not unusual to see one of these posts where a Disney Adult is letting their fanaticism interfere with their life and personal relationships, taking their love for Mickey's magical wonderland (and everything associated with it) to insane lengths.
Interestingly enough, this is not one of those posts. Our Disney Adult has been doing nothing but giving out of pocket and going out of her way in order to make something truly magical happen for her sister, only to have it thrown back in her face in the form of entitled behavior and unreasonable demands. There is absolutely no reason why some toilets couldn't be rented for the wedding if the memorabilia (in the house which is not a part of the event) is an issue.
Still, this Disney Adult is wondering if they are in the wrong for their refusal to remove the memorabilia for the wedding, sharing their story to Reddit's AITA subreddit to get readers' opinions. Read on for screenshots of their account. For more, check out this wedding guest who wore a wedding dress to their friend's wedding and wondered if they were wrong.
