It's always nice when complete strangers band together to put someone acting unreasonably in their place. It's one of those beautiful moments when you feel unmistakably connected to your fellow man, an unspoken bond suddenly formed without words being needed—eye contact and a subtle head nod is all that's necessary.
This chef stepped in to help put a Karen customer in her place when she decided that a fellow guest ought to help her, thinking that he worked there just because he had helped seat his own daughter. If there's anything that an entitled person can sense, it's when help is being given to somebody; it's like blood in the water to them, leading them to the ridiculous conclusion that they should be receiving help and attention too.
If you read the original poster's title as 'Hitachi Fun' instead of 'Hibachi Fun,' like me, you were expecting a very different thread. Still, I can't say I'm disappointed. This has been an incredible read.
