Gather round the fire young kittens, and hear the tale of the feline Meme Lords of the before times. Long before the days of Catlandia, there was a sprawling catropolis known as Meow City, where all cats were welcome with open paws. This marvel of a city was full of amazing magic called 'technology', which was initially powered by incredible blep harnessing methods.

That is, until one day the number of bleps produced could not power the city, for many new arrivals of cuddly kittens had made their way to this feline paradise. So a new power source was sought, and discovered by one who called himself The Meme Lord. His power source was unheard of, but ingenious, harnessing the power of laughs generated by his hissterical memes. Thus started the era of the Meme Lords, an order of elites who created amazing animal memes that created the laughter that would power the Meowian Empire.
