Meet Cashew, the cute and newest member of Uncle Neil's Home, AKA a wonderful animal sanctuary. Uncle Neil is actually a dog… see, this sanctuary began as a dog rescue, but the founders (Rian Feldman and Scooter Belasco) quickly expanded their rescue journey and became a 'voice for the voiceless'. They wanted to provide protection for all animals, regardless of species. According to their website, they were inspired by their unconditional love for Uncle Neil and made it their mission to help other animals in need.
The sanctuary received a message about a tiny piglet who had been detected in their town, who according to them, likely escaped a backyard breeder. Unfortunately, nobody else was able to catch him, but fortunately, volunteers from the sanctuary were able to. The baby pig was hiding in the bushes, and the volunteer who saved him was able to bribe him with some yummy apples.
