Having a four legged friend at home means you that you need to look after them. If it's getting them neutered, keeping them clean, feeding them, or just generally giving them a good life.

So imagine this poor girl's nightmare when her boyfriend's flea ridden cat wasn't being taken care of properly by her boyfriend. He claimed to be struggling financially (although when he had some money he wanted to buy a PS5 instead of getting the cat seen to) refused to get the cat neutered or checked by a vet, and the girlfriend in question was covered in flea bites and had to constantly clean the house.

After months of struggling to resolve the situation, she took it upon herself to surrender the cat to a shelter in hope that it would have a better life elsewhere.

Her boyfriend was furious that she had rehomed his cat without his permission and now she feels bad as he can't afford to adopt the cat back from the shelter.
