There's a certain point in the night when your scrolling on the Interwebs becomes semi-automatic. You hands sort of just know what to do as your eyes lifelessly scan the overly-bright screen in front of you. You always wonder why you do this to yourself until you stumble upon something beautiful and unwavering– a meme in it's truest form, just sitting there waiting for you to huff a small puff of air out of your nose in amusement. The meme has done it's job and can pass peacefully now into meme-Heaven. At least that's what the 2AM version of you would be thinking as you continue to scroll past it.
Whether you're an insomniac, a weirdo, or simply a night owl, you'll always send these late night memes to your friends only to have them ask you what it means the next morning. Now everybody's worried about you and asking if you're okay. The answer is (obviously), yes, you're doing great… the memes have saved you.
