Cats are known to be incredibly fierce creatures. They can and will stand up to all kinds of animals, no matter their size or how dangerous they might be. Kittens will take on giant dogs without a second of hesitation. Cats will fight with all kinds of birds without even taking into consideration their chances. Some cats will befriend foxes. Other cats will befriend horses. They will either fight or befriend all kinds of animals that they have no business trying to do either with. Because cats are brave. And cats stand up for what they want and what is theirs.
Cats are fierce against all animals… except, apparently, turtles. Because when this turtle decided that it wants the bed this cat is sleeping in, the cat didn't even try to fight it or smack it or anything. Completely bamboozled, the cat just… let the turtle take what it wants, and the turtle looked so dang proud of itself.

We have honestly never seen anything like this. Shocked. We are shocked that this cat let this happen. In cases like this, we expect hissing, we expect hyper-speed smacking, we expect self-defense, but no. This cat just moves aside and decides to share, and we are shook by it.
Could it be that we found the one animal that cats are not going to stand up against? Is it pawwsible that cats simply have that much respect for this creature? Because the cat is certainly not afraid of it. Is it pawssible that this is the ultimate interspecies friendship? If it is, we are so friggin' happy about it.
