Font - ✓ 11:28 AM So I will be paid on Thursday this week? 2:08 PM Stop texting me when I'm not at work. If you have a question or concern you can ask me when I'm at work or feel free to call the store and ask the manager in charge. I don't work 24/7. Also if all you're going to do is complain and "tattle" on me to my bosses why don't you get a job somewhere else. All I've done is give you what you wanted and you consistently try and sabotage me and I'm done not saying anything about it. You wil

Font - I was told by you directly multiple times that I would be paid today, yet no communication that it wouldn't be the case. I'm not sure why you'd think I'm "tattling". I don't think answering questions for your managers when they can't get a hold of anyone and assisting with any and all tasks requested of me in the restaurant would be considered sabotage. This is a hilariously unprofessional response to my question. Thanks. You know exactly what I mean by tattling and trying to sabotage me.

Font - I don't think you need anyone to sabotage you. Your inability to properly train employees and manage your food costs is more than enough. Selling $1000s of dollars worth of expired food is ethnically deplorable and a testament to your lack of general oversight into the workings of a restaurant. Spending more time planning your truck orders and communicating to your staff would be more constructive than spending any amount of time wondering who is "tattling". The only value the store curre

Font - ✔ Lol if you could do better you would be the GM right now not me, but if you took over there would be no staff to train. I honestly couldn't care less what you say or think of me. Clearly you don't know what you're talking about, but that is nothing new. That's hilarious. I literally gave you the job. What's initially dep ssing about that is how wrong I was to recommend you. I didn't want the job but I guess the processed sugars and pot are making your memory a bit fuzzy there. What's ad

Font - Changed our pay date without notice. Proceeded to claim it will be on the same 2 week interval next check. It wasn't. This is the text exchange with the GM that followed. Turns out she didn't like the owner and corporate supervisor knowing she's been selling expired food.

Font - I've been a GM at 4 locations and over a decade with the company. I wanted to focus on a different career and deliver pizzas while doing online school. Couldn't stand working in this environment any longer though. Went and got a manager job at a not big 3 pizza place for 63k/ year 3 days later.

Font - I should have let her fire me though. Turns out these OSHA fines can completely bury these franchise locations/small businesses. I called the owner following the texts to let him know I'm stepping away. Letting her fire me would have been the best way for them to realize how bad she is at her job.

Font - Now, the one thing to keep in mind is OSHA desperately tries to not be punitive. They will issue warnings so long as you are clearly making efforts to correct the problem. If you take their findings gracefully

Font - and immediately start making changes, they will not fine you. All that changes on the second, (or worse, third,) call, if nothing has changed. But note, inspectors aren't dumb; they can clearly see when a call is retaliatory.

Font - Another fun thing about OSHA visits: You are probably not an industrial hygienist, the inspector is. What you think are violations very well might not be. But they will find things that would never have occurred to you in a hundred years. Their visit are certainly a learning experience.

Font - And finally, OSHA regulations apply to office jobs too! Keep an eye out for extension cords that have become essentially permanent, poorly stacked boxed of printer paper in the supply closet, and corridors that are partially blocked with things like printers.

Font - SilentInterest7767 OP · 11 hr. ago The "tattling" I did was telling the store owner and corporate supervisor that we had over $1000 worth of expired food. When I reached out to her I was told she is off today and shouldn't be bothered with this.
