People get all sorts of interesting ideas while travelling in the East. Many become inspired to take up spiritualism or yoga, while others explore their less savory tendencies. But when this story's dog saving protagonist set off on her trip to a land far away, the last thing she expected to come back with was a loving pupper of her own.

We suppose no one really goes on vacation thinking that they will come home with a dog. It is probably the least likely event in your life to trigger a darling doggo adoption. But that is just the way of this wonderful universe. When you least expect it the most wonderful things can happen. As it did to this dog lover who was volunteering on a rural mountain farm and happened to hit it off with the farm's doggo. The pair played and cuddled and a bond soon developed. But seeing her new four pawed friend tied to a chain most of the day was a heavy weight to bear for the traveller.

She began by taking things slowly, going for regular walks with her new dog buddy, getting her used to the finer things in life. But time would come that our traveller would have to move on. To go back home. And that is when she was faced with and made the decision to beg the pupper's pawrents to adopt the dog from them. Somehow they agreed and so began the mind boggling journey to get this canine back to Europe where it would live out the rest of its days with its new favorite hooman.

But regardless of how wholesome their life might be, they are still on the farm and this dog still isn’t free.

With some gentle convincing the pup’s pawrents agreed to an adoption and the newly named ‘Hope’ and her mom moved down to the city from the mountains.

Sadly mom had to fly back home for a short while. Which meant a local foster was needed. But it couldn’t be anyone, it had to be someone who understands how hard it is to be a terrified doggo.

After several failed attempts, our rescuer made one final effort to make things right.

And it worked! Finally this pupper will be cared for by someone who truly understands what she has been through and how to help her.
