I missed my train home and he drove me all the way there. By the time the date was over I knew he was 'the one'. Something I thought was a load of rubbish before I met him.     Font - Best date (emotionally) was when I went out to a mushroom conference with someone. We got to geek out all day, watch a doc at my place after, and had amazing freaky time. This was months into dating and I think that's when I realized I loved that person and found my fit (I thought lol).

Then we were driving around and he asked me what there was to do in this city and I told him since it was late our options were pretty much go to a bar or go see a statue of a kid fucking a turtle. He paused for a moment and said "well, I need to see that statue."

    Font - I remember standing in front of the statue thinking "why did I even mention this?" And he just said "well.. .I don't know what I was expecting but he's really fucking that turtle, huh?" We walked around the park the statue was in and had our first kiss. When we got engaged we had photos taken at the hot dog place and in front of the statue. Our photographer was fantastic and didn't even blink over it.

He drove to the top of a hill overlooking the entire city. We had a 180 degree view. We sat on the bonnet of the car eating the treats and talking. Later on we drove to the beach, got coffee and just sat and continued talking. This was my favorite date (1st date actually) ever. Edit: ice cream flavors - Salted Caramel and Strawberry

    Font - 2 matched my neighbour on bumble (both of us saw each other around prior but never conversed in person as there was always somebody else around) he asked me out on bumble but my dryer broke so i declined. he offered his dryer, so i went upstairs to his place with a towel, dried my clothes, had the most spontaneous date ever: we had street food, went to see some sights, a bar, then had takeout.
