I wonder if there are individuals out there who genuinely believe, without any hint of doubt, that they fit the mold of what society considers "normal." I find myself constantly pondering whether I might be socially awkward, and I'm certain that there are those who don't share this self-doubt. To those who confidently fit the norm, I commend you.
What bothers me are those who proclaim that being normal is dull, as it often seems they may not fully accept people for who they truly are. There appears to be a narrow spectrum of acceptable quirkiness, and if someone deviates too far from it and disrupts the status quo too much, they are met with rejection. Perhaps it's time for most of us to acknowledge our normalcy and make the most of it. The true eccentrics, it seems, are the ones you might dislike or feel uncomfortable around, and they may not gain widespread acceptance for another couple of decades. So, if you find yourself fitting into the conventional mold, embrace your mainstream lifestyle and enjoy it to the fullest.
