'And that's the story of the worst day of my life': Senior chihuahua named Lilly has a double ear infection and dog-cuments the harrowing tale of her recovery

Anytime a doggo is feeling sick or has an injury, it's probably that it is the worst day of their life. In the same way that receiving a coveted slice of bacon makes a dog happier than ever, an ear infection has the exact opposite effect. Regardless of the cause of their discomfort, a doggo that's uncomfortable is a grouchy pup. There are no pups that are grouchier and more crotchety than the 14 year old extraordinaire named Lily, a senior chihuahua with an attitude. 

Lily is already a spicy kind of doggo. After nearly a decade and a half of life on this Earth, this pint-sized pistol has had enough of the audacity of life and just wants to be comfortable, chubby, and spoiled. Most of the time, that's her reality, however…

The sauciest tiny dog on the planet recently underwent a harrowing tale of a double doggie ear infection that apparently ruined her entire life. Lily's routine was disrupted, she was uncomfy, and apparently blames her dog-mom 100%. With a vendetta gleaming in her globelike black eyes,  Lily recalls her truly dreadful moments of a dramatically mundane story of a vet visit gone completely right. 

Cursing like a sailor the entire time, our sweet golden girl Lily started her worst day ever in her normal spot. Lounging on the couch she was blissfully unaware of the dismay coming her way. After a long nap, she woke with a fright and a stabbing pain in her ear. 

Within a few hours, her ear scritches got so much worse that her mom promised they'd go ‘get it looked at’ the next morning. As a dog, who are they to know what that means? The next day, Lily was humiliated by being tossed in a laundry basket and hoisted off to the vet office. 

The traitor herself (the dog mom obviously), brought Lily to the spookiest place: THE DOG-TOR OFFICE. Of course they told out 5lbs wonder that she had a double doggie ear infection that needed weeks to heal. With her medicine in hand, they sent Lily home without too much probing. 

Leaving her audience inspired, Lily drowsily went home, happy to sleep off the doggie pain meds and the pain of the worst day of her long illustrious life.
