Wholesome 94 Year Old Grandpa Lives His Best Life, Chugging Margaritas and Eating Guacamole With a Spoon First Thing in the Morning

We all have some sort of vision of the old person we aspire to become. Some want to grow old and wise like Gandalf or Dumbledore. Some want to grow old and sweet like Sponge Bob's Grandma. And some of us, the folks who are the most extra, want to grow old and fiesta. These fiesta-ing types are planning to reach their golden years and are determined not to give a single, flying flip about what everyone thinks about them. These are the grandpas at nude beaches, these are the grannies who wear every color of the rainbow at once, these are the oldies who drink margaritas when they wake up in the morning, just like one Texan girl's 94 year old grandpa.

Although he may not look like much first thing in the morning, this kooky grandpa has earned the right to his wacky ways. Seen in a video that went viral this week, Grandpa Sloan is marching out of the house with a handle of pre-made strawberry margarita in one hand and a tub of guacamole in the other. His granddaughter asked, “Did you just wake up? You gonna get drinkin'?” 

With a huge grin on his face, he makes his way towards an outdoor patio set to enjoy his snackies on the table in the sun. His granddaughter inquires, “Do you want me to get you some chips?" To which the grandpa shares a gleaming, snarky look, saying NOPE. He shuffles away with a mini dance in his step. 

 "You're just gonna eat the guacamole straight up?", his grand daughter asked. He said nothing and continued onward to his glorious breakfast routine, determined to live his best life for his remaining years. 

Quite frankly, this man is a living legend. Not only has he earned his right to drink margs in the morning with a spoonful of guacamole, but this man is also an army veteran and served actively in 3 separate wars. Honestly, after a life full of seriousness and scariness, grandpa over here is entitled to his morning margaritas and can definitely get into any shenanigans he sees fit. This grandpa quickly became the star of the show for several commenters who support him completely in his quest for the perfect margarita basking spot and his reckless inhibition to his guacamole vessels. To that, we salute him.
