'Everyone Deserves A Bear-cation': Bear Spotted In The Gulf Of Mexico In Surreal Scene Of Wildlife's Summer Shenanigans

It's true, everybody needs a vacation every once in a while! Bears included. In an effort to escape the Florida heat, a cub was found dipping his paws into the Gulf of Mexico. Passersby approached the little animal unaware of what it may be. Is it a dog? Is it a shark? No, it's a mer-bear!

One would expect for the human response to be to run in sight of a bear. But no, these Floridians had no fear! Approaching the black bear to get a better look, beach-goers had the chance to get up close and personal with one of the world's most dangerous species. Despite their reputation, this bear was there for a good time. Frolicking in the water, sun blazing down on his fur, he would've stayed in the water forever.
