Shoutout to this customer service representative for telling off Karen so beautifully. As we are all well aware at this point, entitled Karens and customer service representatives seem to find each other in this universe, and well, there is certainly plenty of friction that comes along with that dynamic.
This thread was posted to Reddit's r/entitledparents subreddit by u/1_87th_Sane_Modler, who was working at an airline company when Karen called to make sure she and her 15-year-old were seated next to each other on their upcoming flight. The issue was that Karen booked her flights via Costco Travel Agency, and there was, of course, a mistake in the booking that resulted in a lack of available adjacent seats for Karen and her kid. You can imagine that Karen did not take this well, but the best of part of the story is that after a diplomatic warning, our customer service rep hung up on Karen and refused to help due to her rude behavior.
