Here, on ICanHasCheezburger, we love all cats. We love tiny kittens and gorgeous seniors. We love cats as black as the midnight sky and white fluffy kitties as bright as the fresh snow. We love sweet cats and jerk cats, we love healthy cats and sick cats, we love athletic cats and, of course, we love chonky cats. And yes, everything can be pushed to the extremes, and it's highly important to be in touch with your cat's vet and make sure that your cat is healthy and, if necessary, help them lose weight, but… some cats are just chonkier than others, and that's okay.
In fact, the chonkier the cat, the more cat there is to love. And that is exactly what we are going to do today. We are going to show a whole lotta love to a whole lotta chonky kitties and appreciate them for the stunning beauties that they are.

"But he is an good old boy, 10 years in September. I'm still trying to know him better, he is with me only a year but feels like eternity!
…He was with this name (Goliath) already when we got him, but we decided to keep it cuz it was perfect name for him"
"he weighs 35 lbs. and has been on a low-fat diet for years— eating the suggested amount for a 16 lb cat on a weight loss plan, yet continues gaining weight. he eats maybe 1/2 cup of it a day.
his mother & brother are also obese— but it doesn't seem to be a thyroid issue. it's been very frustrating. no vet has been able to diagnose him with any thing or suggest any approach that we could use to help him lose weight."
