Adventurous Senior Dog Goes on Wild Excursions With Her Outdoorsy Hooman, Creating Wholesome Memories in Front of Paw-Inspiring Sights

When you think of adventure dogs on social media, you probably don't think about an elderly pooch. Older dogs have health problems, bad joints, special diets, and should be sheltered from the world… right? WRONG. According to a nature man named Chris, senior dogs have even more reasons to go out into the world and enjoy everything that nature has to offer. And that's exactly what he's done with his senior doggo named Nala.

Chris started his page with a few beauteous videos of him doing some nice hikes in some national parks. Nothing crazy. Then, he got the hair brained idea to bring along his glorious golden retriever, Nala, to do a little nature walking with him. She immediately fell in love with not only trekking up the trails and seeing the sights, but she loves to lounge in the tent, cuddle her hooman, and take long car rides to reach their breathtaking destinations. 

Nala is the perfect tag along pet and has no qualms when traveling. Most younger dogs would be cantankerous in the car, stressed by moving so much, and potentially needing some doggie downers just to enjoy the change of scenery, but Nala is right at home in the chaos. For Nala, home isn't a place that you go sleep at night, home is a cozy, winter tent shared with her hooman. Home is the back of a van on an 8 hour drive. Home is a dusty ol' hammock hanging under a pine tree in the high desert. 

Even though she's an old bean, Nala does insane hikes with Chris. She scales huge boulders, goes along cliff edges like a pro, and can soar to the top of a mountain with the greatest of ease. She flies by most hikers on the trail, eagerly charging towards the summit for that perfect view. 

No matter what, it seems like Nala is living out her senior years to their fullest, inspiring her millions of followers to go out, get some fresh air, and take their senior dog around the block a few times.
