‘Your career is less important than mine’: Boyfriend Demands Girlfriend Uproot Life and Relocate for His Career Despite Her Growing Achievements as a Chef

Every couple knows that despite loving your significant other, you often have difficulties communicating; men are from Mars, women are from Venus, and all that. In this case, OP landed her dream job as a chef, which was a very exciting achievement for her. It had taken her a while to land the gig, and the opportunity was a major milestone in her career. Her boyfriend also got an amazing job offer that would provide him with a much bigger salary. Although the news was initially exhilarating, this job opportunity caused a rift in their relationship, as he expected OP to uproot her life and move with him to another location for this job. OP declined, saying that she would lose too much in regard to her own career.
