'She Is Just Desperate For Affection', Kitten Who Was Thrown Out Of A Car Gets Rescued And Becomes A Total Cuddlebug (Viral Thread)

Even though we all know, in the back of our minds, that some people in the world are cruel… it's hard for us to imagine it. But it's true. Sometimes, bad people do bad things to the kindest and purest animals. Even to the adorable creatures that are cats. In some ways, we don't like talking about it - don't like giving these kinds of stories the spotlight. But on the other hand, it is so important for us to show love to the amazing people who rescue these ctas from these awful situations. 

So, here we are again, with the kind of amazing cat rescue story that will leave you speechless first in a bad way - because of what was done to the cat, and in a good way - because the kitten has been rescued and is now in safe hands.

    It's hard for us to imagine anyone being cruel enough to do something like that to an animal - any animal. The only thing that we can say is that we're glad this happen if only because the cat is now away from those horrible people. Staying with them longer would have probably - in the long run - been worse than having this happen to her.

    We are so, so glad to see this sweetheart still being affectionate with humans. We think that it truly means that she was rescued on time - before anything worse could have happened to her. We would like to thank everyone involves in the rescue and wish you guys the easiest time finding this cutie the best forever home - a forever home that is worthy of her.

    Font - I just picked her up from the kind soul who rescued her. She's definitely sick and will be visiting the vet tomorrow morning. Fortunately she doesn't seem to have any broken bones or other trauma from the car. She is just desperate for affection and constantly purring and making biscuits.

    Font - Does anyone have a guess from the video whether she's younger but just very underweight or whether she is an older cat? I'm usually somewhat okay at guessing, but since her poor face is goopy it's kind of throwing me off.

    Font - bittleby OP UPDATE! +2.5 days ago We just got back from the vet. They estimated she's about 1 year old. She's got a whole host of things that we are treating but she continues to be in great spirits. I've named her Stella!

    Font - Stella has an upper respiratory infection which has caused oral ulcers and oral/nasal discharge. We've got antibiotics and she received and injection to treat this. She's also got a great deal of eye discharge and have some gel to help take care of that. She's also got a lot going on with her ears- mites, yeast, and bacterial infection. She's also got tapeworms. We are going to have fun with all her medications, but I'm so happy I can get her started on the road to recovery. She's still a

    Font - sweetheart even after all the poking and prodding. The organization I'm working with will be doing some additional testing and vaccinating next week. I'm extremely lucky to be working with an organization that is covering her vet expenses. I am just going to be her foster mom until we can get her into rescue, but I will give her all the love she deserves while I have her.
