Photoshop Expert Edits Male Celebrity Photos the Same Way Female Celebrities Get Edited, Goes Viral

We all know actors act. So when they are in character, they are not being themselves. So why is it when they try to present themselves as well… themselves in media, men get to really bare it all, and women don't. We're not saying there aren't any images of women letting it all show through, but even when they do it's made into a piece about their body image instead of about themselves. Usually, celebrity women are so heavily photoshopped, you'd think that at 50+ they only have fine lines and no wrinkles. Or that the celeb mom who just had a baby a month ago really has not one stretch mark or blemish. If you didn't know what women meant when they said the media creates unrealistic body standards for women, well, here is a glaring example. 

A photoshop expert on TikTok recently took to the social media app to share what male celebrities would like life if they were photoshopped the same way women were and it's shocking. She started the post only photoshopping men 50+ years old, but it so quickly became viral she decided to follow up with a video showing celebrity men of any age being photoshopped the same way as women. It's pretty astonishing that we as a society are still living in an era where the media tries to pretend like women don't age. Almost makes us gals feel like we're not allowed to age… Hmmmmm.
