One millennial woman posted how her boomer mom had her back during her nasty divorce. She was completely devastated during the divorce and felt like she lost herself in her now ex. So her supportive and petty queen mom decided to make a move that might have been small, but it was the world to this daughter going through a hard time. Her dad has called her mom by the same pet name for almost 45 years. However, this nickname happened to coincidentally be the last name of the daughter's now ex. During OP's marriage, it was cute that her parent's pet name and her new surname were the same. But now that she was going through this divorce, it was hard to hear.
