There are a lot of reasons that people don't like Disney, and some are more valid than others. I completely agree that Disney is becoming a dangerous monopoly that might own every single IP someday, and that does scare me. However, when people don't like Disney because they think Disney adults are corny or whatever, that's when alarm bells start to ring in my head. People who hate Disney adults sound like tweens trying to convince people that they're actually super mature and don't like stuff for kids. Even if you're not a theme park person or don't enjoy animated movies, you can see why other people do without characterizing them as silly rubes. Life is very difficult, and Disney can help people escape into a world where they feel like kids again. If you think there's any harm in that, you don't deserve to scroll through these hilarious Disney memes.
