'Can you make that dude wait?': Satisfying justice finally comes for those who wait patiently in line in the form of 'IDGAF' employees

We have all been there, standing, sitting, or whatever, waiting in line for what feels like forever. It's not fun and none of us like it, but we wait, because we live in a society (said in a George Constanza voice)! Nobody is entitled to be first in line for something like McDonalds. Come on, people. We've evolved beyond that kind of behavior. But actually, apparently, we haven't, because there are still many cutters in the world. You can't just cut in line and not know that everybody hates you. Cutting a line is one of the most egregious acute acts of disrespect anyone can be accused of. 

It hurts in an indescribable place in your heart when you see someone getting away with cutting in line after you have been waiting patiently for hours. Recently, however, one guy got the amazing experience of seeing justice getting served to a dude trying to cut. He posts on Reddit that he was waiting in line at his favorite fast food drive thru. It wasn't that long of a line, but definitely a few cars deep. When all of a sudden a guy pulls in out of nowhere, ignores the cones that forms the line of cars, and drives right up to the middle of the line to cut in. He starts pulling in and OP and the car in front of him try to stay as close as possible to not allow him in, but the guy was relentless and was able to get in anyways. The drive thru had employees walking up to the cars to get people's orders and one of them started to walk to the guy who had just cut. So OP stuck his head out of the window and said to make that guy wait because he just cut the line. 

The employee looked at the car, then looked at OP and with a nonchalant IDGAF attitude, nodded, and came to him. But it didn't stop there, they not only skipped the cuter to make him wait longer, they also had him pull into a parking spot to have him wait even longer for his food. It was a beautiful chef's kiss moment, and OP made sure to let the manager know that their employees were doing things right and working on the side of satisfying justice. Seriously, who cuts in line for fast food? I don't even cut in line at fast food when I'm getting my midnight fries after the bar!

    Font - I was grabbing food at Portillos, where they have two lanes for busy times. They close off the 2nd lane unless it's lunch/dinner rush. I pulled in behind a few cars mid afternoon, and as we're waiting for someone to come take our orders( they take your order on foot, and walk down the line of cars to speed up the process.

    Font - This turd pulls right into the second one, because apparently we're all morons and he's a genius getting into the short line. He crept up, to where his lane was cut off by traffic cones, when I caught eyes with the lady in front of me through her mirror. We both gave a look, and she pulled up blocking him from getting in. I tried hugging her bumper but this guy was really set on getting in front of me. He sped up, and crept in.

    Font - So, as I said, there are people who walk and take the orders. After he takes the order from woman in front of me, he starts making his way to the guy cutting. I leaned out the window and said, "hey man, can you make that dude wait? He's trying to cut in front of all of us.

    Font - Poo-City-USA OP. 12 hr. ago There was 2 cars in front of me to the menu. They had an arrow saying "use left lane" At the entrance of the two, and the 2nd lane had Orange cones all through it up to right before the 2 cars in front of me where there was like 6 in a row blocking the lane where people exit after getting food. The parking lot has enough room on the other side of that lane, not separated by a grass island no or anything, so he literally went around it, got to the line of cones

    Font - I'm a regular at Portillos, I know the routine. It was a slow period in the day where they closed it to one lane probably because the other people taking orders where on break or something. Happens quite often

    Font - easysmiler 14 hr. ago I live on an island, and the locals know the drill. On especially busy days there can be a lineup down the road to get to the ticket booth, and of course people will leave the intersections clear.

    Font - There is always someone who thinks they are being smart by squeezing into the lineup in one of the breaks. Ferry staff just let them wait for an hour or 2 along with everyone else, then when they finally get to the booth, they refuse to sell them a ticket and send them to the back of the line. You should hear the cheers and honking when they have to make the drive of shame. I love it!

    Font - Reasonable_Read8792 15 hr. ago We have a starbucks in my town with a drive through with two lanes which are supposed to take turns at the end turning left to reach the order screen. A lot of people with larger cars, myself included ( minivan) find it very hard to turn that sharp left from the left lane so we choose the second lane on the right.

    Font - And as a decent human being, if I choose the second lane on the right to give myself more turning room even though there are people on line sj ready in the left lane, I don't turn left until EVERYONE who was already waiting in the left lane when I pulled in has reached the order

    Font - screen. Most people in town do the same as a matter of common courtesy. But there's always gonna be the a pe who just picks the empty lane for no good reason except line cutting and i'm pleased you dealt with it so well.

    Font - quik1th 9 hr. ago I had a lady decide she didn't need to zipper merge during lunch rush so she went up over the curb and through the landscaping to get in front of me. I hollered out that window that the lines take turns and her response was that she had a mobile order so she should be first. Still shaking my head at that one.
