Your first day at a new job is nerve-wracking and awkward, as you're just getting used to your new surroundings, and meeting a ton of new people that may or may not end up making your life difficult. Getting along with new coworkers is a hard task, because you haven't quite made your name yet in the office or industry you're working in, and people can take advantage of the fact that you're new. My own anxiety only begins to wean once I'm a few months in, and less embarrassed to stand up for myself when somebody does something that I deem unfair.
This person, who we'll call OP, went through a staffing agency to find a job and stumbled upon one that he found pretty decent. He prepared himself with work rules and made sure that he was wearing something that fit the dress code. Arriving fifteen minutes early, he was happy to begin working. However, that initial excitement didn't take long to dissipate, as it turns out he was working with one of the all too familiar Karen employees, who took an immediate dislike to him.
This lady saw OP sweeping the floor and decided that he was doing it all wrong, even though he'd been told how to do it by another employee already. She began to rant and rave at him, and one thing led to another… scroll down to read how and when OP found out that he was fired. All thanks to your run-of-the-mill office Karen, except that this took place in a warehouse.
