Before there were iPhones, before there were even digital cameras, we had good, old-fashioned film cameras. And even before that, we had giant rectangular contraptions that captured images with a giant flash that only serious photography purrfessionals had! But one thing that has stayed the same despite the evolution of technology is the fact that people love to take pictures of their cats. Even when you couldn't whip our your phone and snap a quick pic of your fabulous feline, people still went out of their way to photograph their purrfect pets.
We have some majestic-looking cats in this post (cats have always been beautiful, what can we say?), and even a few teeny tiny kittens for your viewing pleasure here. Don't forget some un-fur-gettable family portraits, as well as lots of people just showing their love for their cats. In 50 years, will people look back on our cat pictures and think the same things about us?

This kitty is interested in baseball! We love this old-timey television and how the cat is so purrfectly centered and focused on the sports game. Who do you think the cat is rooting for? Now our cats have iPads to play with, but this is probably the first moving picture this cat ever saw.
What a wholesome family pur-trait! Why have one cat when you can have four? This guy has the right idea in our opinion, there is no way we could take just one. They are probably all from the same litter because they all look like they're the same age.
