Couple Publicly Breaks Up After 6 Years of Dating Over an Argument Started By a Napkin; Redditors Point Out the Undeniable Irony

Everyone knows at least one toxic couple. They're the ones at every social gathering that find something to bicker about and they're the ones you always see on social media that are obsessively raving about each other before deleting every couple picture they have. Who can stand the whiplash? Well, some of us like to gobble up the gossip when it comes to these toxic kinds of relationships and recently, a man shared the dish on how his turbulent 6 year relationship came to a definitive end. The culprit that spurred the bitter breakup? A napkin on a restaurant table. 

In this case, OP was the boyfriend (now, ex-boyfriend) of a woman he dated for 6 years. Clearly they had some deeper issues going on, but apparently, on a random evening out, OP's girlfriend noticed an ad on a napkin at their table for online therapy. She nonchalantly threw out the idea that perhaps they should do some couple's counseling together and OP simply DID NOT agree.
