Font - Note before reading: While I do get frustrated with him, this is mostly for entertainment purposes. While everything I have stated is true, Zøg is my baby. No one is upset about him living here; we all enjoy it and have quiet spots to go when we need it. He's an amazing and interesting addition to our family. The initial up was about a month ago, but I suffer from it everyday and night. My husband (then boyfriend) picked me up from work. I wasn't feeling the best and I was kinda grumpy. H

Font - He could tell I was getting upset. So he asked me if I wanted to go see the baby goats at the community market. Ofc I said yes. By the way, we already had 3 cats. Bunty (almost entirely white with a bit of gray), BMO (black kitty), and Pintoe (Russian blue). We had been joking about getting an orange kitty 1. Because it would complete the color palette and 2. Because orange kitties are known for being weirdos.

Font - We pulled up to the community market. There were no baby goats. We decided to go into Tractor Supply. The second we got out of the car, a lady ran up to us with 2 kittens in a carrier and asked if we wanted one. My husband immediately said no, but I asked if I could hold one. She handed me this super sweet little guy. So I held him while we chatted for a bit. Then my husband told me to give the kitty back. Little dude was like Velcro and it took about 5 minutes to detach him from my shirt

Font - Man, I booked it out the door and across the parking lot to ask the lady how much she wanted for the kitten. He was free! So we got him the essentials and brought him home. The poor baby was only about 4 weeks old and full of worms. It was a Friday, so we had to quickly figure out a quarantine plan. We tried a huge tote... Turns out the little man could jump. So we ended up laying my huge bookshelf across the closet entry and banning the other cats from the bedroom. I spent a lot of time

Font - He hadn't been weaned yet, so we started by feeding him formula and keeping a bit of dry food in the closet. On the third formula feeding, he ate the nipple off the bottle. So I put the formula in a bowl. Which he continuously tipped over. Eventually he made it to the stage where we figured he was worm free, but we continued the quarantine just Incase. Until the day he finally jumped over the bookshelf. We thought he might make a good bedroom kitty. At this point, Pintoe was the only one

Font - We were wrong. He spent the whole night zooming, chewing on the bedding, and attempting to eat us. So then his quarantine ended. The other cats were sick of him within half an hour. He specializes in terrorizing them. Especially Bunty, who's the sweetest kitten ever. This little mf has my house ruined. He loves to destroy everything. My only 2 houseplants have been d. My loving kitties do their best to hide in places that Zøg can't access. I no longer know where any of my hair ties are. A

Font - I can't eat in peace. He will do whatever he can to have my food. My books are never on the shelves. This little guy can even knock over the metal trash can! He doesn't like toys, just hair ties and trash. I feel like my home will never be relaxing again. The parasite seems to only sleep about 10 minutes a day. He's not a comfort as he cuddles for about 2 minutes before it turns into a murder attempt. I never imagined Pintoe being harassed, as he's big, scary, and tough. But Zøg is never

Organism - spacefitzburger - 12 hr. ago I love this story so much! Take heart, orange cats do ~kinda~ settle down when they get a little older. Our orange cat Fitz was a little terror as a kitten and he's still crazy, but not as crazy. Our 16 year old tabby love/hates him and we often have to shut him out of the bedroom if we want to sleep through the night, but he's the bestest. Enjoy life with your little chaos maker! Here's my Fitz, he's three now. H

Font - paleoterrra 8 hr. ago Same story here. My orange was just like OP's as a kitten. I was overwhelmed and stressed out constantly. He calmed down a lot after 1 year. Now he's a fat, lazy old man and my best friend. Still knows how to enact chaos, but it's more calculated zoomies and knocking stuff off counters when he's upset

Font - Last_Advertising_52 · 13 hr. ago Oh boy! I don't mean to laugh, but this sounds so much like our Sylvia when we adopted her last fall. Good lord. Talk about a holy terror. She'd march right up and steal food off our plates, especially salad greens and any kind of potato chips, and run away to hide in the tub to eat them. She would play with everything and, despite being tiny, she'd terrorize our huge other cat (NOT AMUSED) And if you told her no, she'd give you an honest to goodness scowl

Cat - times per day. But playing for shorter times more often seems way better for some reason. We work from home so it's easy to do; clearly it might not for everyone. Plus as she got older, and after she was spayed, she chilled out a little too. No still is but a suggestion and she gallops everywhere and sticks her butt in my husband's face at what she decides is breakfast time, but she's not eating plants or doing anything where she'd hurt herself!

Font - twinkletwot 10 hr. ago My orange boy was an absolute terror when he was a kitten but chilled out around the time he hit 2 years old. He would charge at me every single morning as I was walking back to the stairs with my hot cup of coffee. He loved to pull things off of tables and the TV stand, to the point I made plexiglass doors for the TV stand, and everything on the coffee table. is in a tray now. I thought I could never do a kitten again after Sunny because of how overwhelming it was.
