Today my cat sighed. This dang feline literally inhaled dramatically, heaved their tiny tummy in, and let out the most aggravated, burdened sigh you've ever heard. Personally, I wondered, what could possibly be bothering you, you little freeloader? This cat has no bills, this cat has no worries, and this cat always has food and shelter. Could it be that my cat is acquiring my own human emotions and feelings through osmosis? The cat's obviously learned behavior (the heavy sigh), could be a strong indicator of our connection. Although felines have the simplistic domesticated pet lifestyle, maybe they can sense our humanity and daily struggles. Our cats relate to us, just as we relate to them.

Of course, cats aren't paying our rent, so they may take on behaviors like their hoomans, but they'll never really know what it's like to be a bald, bipedal giant who's always stressing about chores and about work deadlines.
