Good morning, friends, and congratulations for making it all the way to Friday! We hope you have had a pawsome week and that you're ready for an even better weekend. Or at least, we can promise you that you're about to start your day on the right paw, because it's time to meet the newly adopted faces of the week!
Every single week, first thing on Friday morning, we start your day off with a brand new collection of the cutest, sweetest, most heartwarming cat adoption stories on the web. These stories make us smile, and we know that they do the same for you, so prepare yourselves for some pawsitivity.
As always, we would like to thank every single person who adopted a kitty this week, and an extra warm thank you goes to those of you who adopted senior cats, sick cats, rehomed cats, or any other "impurrfect" kitties. You are their forever heroes, and we simply have to thank you and wish you all many, many happy and healthy years together!

"A coworker was asking if anyone would adopt kittens because her parents were letting their dogs eat them. They didn't want the kittens and it was their way of saying get them out of here or else. I was horrified and volunteered to foster some kittens until I could find homes for them. By the time I had found out though, there was only two kittens left and someone else had claimed the other one. It was so sad. I didn't plan on keeping her, just wanted to keep her safe.
Two years later and I still can't find a home for TieDye. She even plays fetch!!"
"She's so majestic, she's like a literal princess. They are monsters, I can't believe people like that really exist…
My coworker did end up calling animal patrol on her own parents. She hated them too."
"Last year, my kitty passed away, and this community was so kind about it, so I wanted to share a joyful update. I just adopted two kittens, and I love them so much. Reddit, meet Pearl and Grits. They are Siamese and Tabby mixes. They love play time, the shower curtain, and pets."
"It's official, little kitty is home. Found as a stray, taken to the humane society, then we couldn't forget him and adopted him! Currently exploring the house and slowly meeting my other 3.
Some growling and hissing from 2, but my grey/white cat Dante is following him everywhere as he explores. I'm just chaperoning to make sure no altercations occur."
"Everyone wish my Lucy girl a happy 18. I adopted her 4 years ago when she was 14 and has taught me so much about compassion, gentleness, and patience. She has a variety of health issues but I am so damn grateful for every gift of a day I get to spend with her"
