31 Seriously Silly House Cats That Are, As The Kids These Days Say, 'Lit On The Nip'

Some of us like to have a glass of wine at the end of the day while we watch our True Crime documentaries, some like to pop open an ice-cold brewski, but cats? Cats have catnip, and we can only imagine what goes on through their adorable little noggins when the nip hits. It seems to activate a hidden part of their brain, the mysterious derp center, that chills them out and gives them zoomies all at the same time. 

We literally can't with their silly faces and reactions during and after the nip hits. Or, as the kids say these days, when they're 'lit on the nip'. We don't even try to keep up with the Gen Z'ers these days, but on occasions we have to communicate with them, so it's good to try to learn their language. We don't really understand what we're saying, but we're pretty sure that this post of hilarious cats is lit, no cap!

    This is the peak purrformance of the derp center of the brain, as activated by some seriously lit 'nip. As you can see, the cat no longer distinguishes between up and down, right and wrong, zonked or zoomies.

    This cat looks like he staged an intervention for someone else, going through the house and destroying all the catnip so it would be unusable by someone else. He even looks disappointed in us. We're sorry!
