I don't know quite how it's happened, but I'm yet to have anybody in my social circle have a kid. If you'd asked me a decade ago, I'd probably have been certain that I would be on speaking terms with at least one person who had a baby.
I feel that it's unlikely for me to be the one who breaks this trend, unless my life does a dramatic 180. However, it does leave me thinking about how I'm going to react when the first friend who I spent so many debaucherous, carefree times with announces that their family is going to expanding.
This is something that one deliberately childfree Redditor has been struggling with recently.
