Wikipedia Commons Had a ‘Breaking the Rules’ Challenge and the Submissions Are Delightful

One of our favorite Twitter accounts @depthsofwiki is a wonderful repository for all the hidden gems found on everyone's favorite online encyclopedia. Recently, the account shared a special series of images from the website's recent photo challenge. @depthsofwiki wrote in their Twitter post, "Wikimedia Commons had a photo challenge with a theme of 'Breaking the rules' and people interpreted it in a bazillion ways. Here are some of my favorite submissions." They followed with some very entertaining entires, including a humble cow blocking a hiking path, a jaywalking alligator, a man in the buff enjoying a public water fountain, and a handful of other delightful randoms.

After @depthsofwiki shared their favorite submissions from the challenge, a few people were inspired and replied with their own examples of mischievous troublemakers “breaking the rules.” Most of them were cows.
